Guidelines for Pause for Thought contributors for Link magazine

Similar in tone and content to Thought for the Day on Radio4

Reflections from a faith perspective on local topics, issues in the news or related to the time of year 

Suitable for audience of all religions and none: e.g. topics such as peace, kindness, care for environment

Something to encourage people to step back and reflect – thought provoking

Could be light-hearted, inspiring or up-lifting

Sensitive to current affairs

Ideal length: approx. 300 words, but this is flexible, if more space needed to say something meaningful and thought provoking. (Max is 500 words)
